Hi! My name is Aaron. I make things on the web, some of which you can find via the links on the navbar or illustrated below. I have a passion for data and the visualization thereof. I think it's interesting how many different interpretations there can be for even a single dataset. Even more interesting though is how those can be shaped with graphic presentation. Some day in the near future I intend to try my hand at a kaggle competition.
Before I got into web apps and data, I was a hardware guy. I've made things with Pi's, Duino's, FPGA's, and of course, standard PC hardware. Let's just say, my solder game is on point. At my heart though, I'm just a reverse engineer. I love taking things apart, learning how they work, forgetting how they go back together, then ultimatly reassembling them some whole other way. I think hobby-ism should be at the heart of all professional learning.
In addition to the above, I am a husband and a father. When I am not making programs, I'm probably making dinner, or cleaning it up off the floor. Toddlers, am I right?
